You are to pick ONE theme from above and research into brands that fit into this category. Through the research process you are to choose a product or products to photograph and create TWO images that successfully advertise this brand.

This is my initial choice for product advertising in a Studio. In retrospect, I feel this is not right! The angles of the Rosemary and the red cloth in the top right had corner are amiss. I feel the angles should be paralleled and uniformly displayed.

Lessons Learnt
- Back photo’s up & double check they have been saved !
- The lessons learnt in the first part of the advertising brief remain Extant.
- Look at your images both subjectively and objectively – subjectively to allow personal and individual preferences and then objectively, to allow a much more rounded opinion to manifest – This will also offer answers towards if the brief has been met!
- Relate back to basics – Visual Language – Rule of Thirds, Line, Perspective, Composition, Colour, Texture etc…
- Research to give good understanding of the brief thus allowing a much more rounded overview of subject and overall brief
- Don’t settle when a shoot goes well and an image is perceived as good. Alter lighting, perspective, shooting position. One just may get a much more improved suitable image
- If in doubt – Ask, but ask the right questions….
